Ala Vaikunthapurramloo grossed ₹85 crore worldwide on its opening day. By the end of first week, the film raked in ₹100 crore domestically and also became the first Indian film in 2020 to touch $2 million gross at the United States box office. Ala Vaikunthapurramloo became the first ₹200 grosser for both Allu Arjun and Trivikram Srinivas.
According to Box Office India, the film netted ₹200 crore domestically, becoming the sixth film from southern India and the first film without Hindi version to achieve this feat. It has netted more than ₹150 crore from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana alone, third film to do so alongside two parts of Baahubali series.
By the end of its theatrical run, the film managed to gross ₹262 crore worldwide, becoming one of the highest-grossing Telugu films.
